Be social! Join Alderman Maldonado's campaign to clean 26th Ward streets and prevent neighbors from getting a $50 ticket. Use your Facebook, Twitter accounts, your phone tree, and block club to warn neighbors that street sweepers are coming.
Below is the map of the ward divided into sections for sweeping. Find your section number and discover when it's being cleaned on the calendar. Spread the word:
- Vehicles must be moved before 9am.
- Look for the bright orange street cleaning signs, as dates may change due to equipment failure or weather-related emergencies.
- Portions of the ward now have permanent sweeping schedules. Signs on these streets explain when cleaning occurs.
- Sweeping occurs from April through November.
