Maldonado's commitment: Manage county assets to serve all residents

Seven generations of Americans have continuously invested in Cook County.  These assets--especially our public health system--can be part of the solution to address our greatest national demand: universal health care.

My goals as Commissioner:

• expand health care services to the poor and middle-class
• bring tax relief to the poor and the middle-class
  
• tread lightly upon the environment
